We The 99%
We are another step in the movement for global solidarity, building people power to confront economic injustice and reclaim democracy. As world leaders gather for the G20 Summit in South Africa in November 2025, we’re organizing a three-day People’s Summit that will bring together over 10,000 activists, organizers, artists, and community members from across the Global South and beyond.
Our summit is about resisting elite-driven agendas AND showcasing the alternatives already being built by communities worldwide. Through storytelling, cultural celebration, and collective action, we’re co-creating a People’s Manifesto that centres the voices of those most affected by austerity, exploitation, and repression.
This is more than a moment of protest. It’s a movement-building engine designed to strengthen international solidarity, align cross-border campaigns, and embed justice-driven solutions into the foundations of a new global economic order.
The future belongs to the 99%, and we’re building it together.
